Why Keep Grating? What’s that about?

Easy answer! When I was younger (so much younger than today) a friend and I thought it would be fun to make a movie. The name you ask? “She’s Running Away!” What it was about is a conversation for a different day when we know each other better. In the movie there was a scene where my friend Falco was shredding cheese and she said “This movie isn’t cheesy enough” to which I replied “Keep grating.”

That’s it! That’s the origin story.

Except not quite.

The last few years have been pretty tricky for me, maybe for you, for a lot of us. I have been struggling and looking for some sort of project and was chatting with Falco who has now been my friend, and collaborator, for decades about how I wanted to learn to make a website but couldn’t even decide on what to call it. Her response? You guessed it.

Also, keep grating? Keep trying? Keep going? Maybe it’s my cheesy mantra of late? Fingers crossed that it works.
